Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between page visits, for example what’s in your shopping cart, or whether you’re logged in. Some cookies are essential for the site to work; others are used for analytics.

Cookies we use

Essential: shopping and account (WooCommerce / WordPress)

• woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart: remembers what’s in your cart.
• wp_woocommerce_session_*: keeps your cart linked across pages during checkout.
• wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*: keeps you logged in to My Account, if you have one.

These are required for the cart and checkout to work and can’t be switched off without breaking the ability to buy from the site.

Analytics: Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager

• _ga, _ga_*: tells unique visitors apart, used by Google Analytics.
• _gid: tells visitors apart for a 24-hour window.
• _gat: limits the request rate to Google Analytics.

These help us understand which pages and products visitors find useful, so we can improve the site. They don’t identify you personally. See Google’s Cookie Policy for how Google handles this data.

Advertising: Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram)

• _fbp: set by our site so Meta can tell which Facebook and Instagram ads bring visitors here. Kept for 90 days.
• fr: Meta’s own advertising cookie, sent to Meta if you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram in the same browser.

The Pixel tells Meta when someone views a product, starts checkout or places an order, so we can see which ads work. When you place an order, our server also sends that purchase to Meta with your email address and phone number in hashed (scrambled) form, so Meta can match it to an ad you saw. See Meta’s Cookie Policy.

Managing or disabling cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings (usually under Privacy or Security). Blocking essential cookies will stop the cart and checkout from working. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect browsing or buying; it only stops usage data from being collected.

• Manage cookies in Chrome
• Manage cookies in Firefox
• Manage cookies in Safari

You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and choose which ads Meta shows you in your Facebook ad preferences.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the site changes. Material changes are shown by the “Last updated” date at the top.
